Mike Nicoll grew up playing AAU basketball in West Los Angeles with teammates (and future NBA players) Trevor Ariza and Gabe Pruitt. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2007 – where he discovered a flair for filmmaking to pair with his longstanding love for the game of basketball.
After two years working on projects in Chicago and Shanghai, Mike returned to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts in 2009. He spent his time at USC focusing on writing & directing – specifically within the field of Sports Documentaries.
Mike spent two years working in the post-production department at Sony Pictures Television where he helped coordinate shows including AMC’s ‘Breaking Bad’ and TNT’s ‘Justified’. While at Sony he also worked as a special assistant on the 2010 motion picture “Moneyball”. Mike has been developing ‘At All Costs’ since the Fall of 2011, and looks forward to premiering the film in the Summer of 2015.
